Micropayment Billing
Panagram.com was the first to micropayment billing system for streaming media. Customers were only charged for storage of clips on the Panagram.com server and when users clicked through to hear recordings.
Services billed to the customer-specified credit card. Each time the account balance reached zero was replenished by automatically charging the card.
