Panagram.com Makes Everyone a Webcaster

Panagram.com records, and automatically optimizes, converts, and hosts RealAudio presentations for broadcast over the Internet. Trio Systems is launching Panagram.com at Spring Internet World at the Los Angeles Convention Center April 5-7.

Panagram.com simplifies what was once a complex and difficult task. All the RealAudio production and hosting is automated by Panagram.com. "Anyone with a microphone and a PC can start broadcasting on the Internet," commented Alan Bartholomew, President of Trio Systems. Panagram.com makes it easy for webmasters to enhance e-commerce and corporate websites with the power of the human voice. Improve communication in email broadcasts with the addition of the spoken word.

Panagram.com uses SoniClear/NP, the Windows browser plugin that manages the process of creating RealAudio files, and uploading them to Panagram.com. SoniClear/NP includes VoiceBoostTM digital signal processing to focus the sound frequency spectrum for optimal results when the recording is converted to RealAudio format. VoiceBoost DSP optimizations include:

oMultiband voice-optimized compression for punch
oAutomatic de-esser for sibilance reduction
oPresence boost for intelligibility
oNormalization for maximum output level
oPeak limiter for controlling overload distortion
oSmart expansion gate for reduced background noise

The Panagram.com service is available free of charge for personal, non-commercial applications. Users can create RealAudio voice recordings up to 2 minutes in length. One megabyte of free disk space is included for storing recordings (about 15 minutes of talk time). The free service is advertising supported.

The Panagram.com Business Service offers enhanced, commercial-use hosting for a basic monthly fee of $24.95 which includes:

oUnlimited clip size
o20 megabytes of disk storage
oNo advertising on playback of clips
oMetered streaming with 500 Megabytes of playback traffic prepaid
oChoice of any RealAudio G2 file format, including SureStream
oImport WAV files into a recording
oMultiple input source selection, in addition to microphone input
oLocal file backup

Panagram.com is based on Panagram Server which can be licensed for installation by ISP's and by corporations for Intranet applications. Licensing fees include an installation charge of $1000 and a monthly "per-seat" charge of $15. OEM licensing of the Panagram Server and SoniClear/NP are also available.
